What is EMSCULPT® NEO?
This revolutionary device-led treatment uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic Technology (HIFEM®) to induce supramaximal muscle contractions at a rate unattainable in a standard gym workout. Am I suitable for EMSCULPT® NEO?
As EMSCULPT® NEO is a non-invasive treatment, most people seeking to enhance their physique by losing fat and building lean muscle will benefit from this treatment. However, before we can proceed, we will ask that you attend a pre-treatment consultation at our Holborn clinic. During this initial meeting, we will discuss your concerns about your body and how EMSCULPT® NEO could assist you. Additionally, we can discuss the estimated number of sessions you may need and any other treatments that might complement your EMSCULPT® NEO sessions for optimal results.
How long does an EMSCULPT® NEO session last?
An EMSCULPT® NEO treatment session lasts approximately 30 minutes, depending on the number of areas you wish to have treated. No preparation is required beforehand, so you can simply lie back while your practitioner applies the treatment to the designated target areas. EMSCULPT® NEO is not painful at all; you may feel a sensation of warmth and muscle contractions; however, many of our patients remark that this is tolerable and feels rather like a massage.
Is there any downtime or side effects with EMSCULPT® NEO?
EMSCULPT® Neo is generally considered a safe and effective treatment with minimal side effects; however, temporary redness, muscle soreness, or mild swelling in the treated area can occur after your treatment. These side effects usually resolve within a few days. There is no need to take time off work or your usual daily activities following this treatment.
How many EMSCULPT® NEO sessions will I need?
Every patient is different regarding the number of treatments needed to achieve the most desirable results. However, at London Real Skin, we generally recommend a course of four treatments spaced about five to ten days apart for optimal outcomes.
When will I see and feel the results from my EMSCULPT® NEO treatment, and how long will they last?
You will likely begin to feel initial results immediately after your treatment, and positive results are typically seen between 2 to 4 weeks after your final session. The results will continue to improve for several weeks following your course of treatments. As EMSCULPT® NEO naturally builds lean muscle mass, the results are long-lasting, but it’s important to maintain a healthy lifestyle as well as undergoing this treatment. Top-up treatments may be advised if, after the initial results are achieved, you feel that you would like to build more muscle or continue to tone up.
