Tell us what is
bothering you
Most people arrive with a concern rather than a treatment in mind. These are the twelve we see most often, what each one actually is, and what we use for it.
— How this works
Concern first,
machine second
A laser is not a diagnosis. Two people with what looks like the same brown patch can need two completely different plans, and one of them can be made worse by the treatment that helps the other.
So every plan here starts with a proper look at the skin, under magnification, by someone qualified to say what they are seeing. That consultation is free, and it is as likely to end in skincare and a review as it is in a course of treatment.

— What we treat
Twelve concerns,
seen properly
Each one links through to the treatments we use for it. If what is bothering you is not listed, it is still worth asking.
01
Acne Scarring
Textural change left behind once the acne itself has settled: rolling, boxcar or icepick. Which of the three you have decides what helps, which is why we look first.
What we use
02
Ageing Skin
Volume loss, laxity and dullness tend to arrive together. Almost always a plan across several months rather than one appointment.
What we use
03
Crepey Skin
Fine, papery laxity on the neck, chest, upper arms or under the eye. It is not a wrinkle and it is not treated like one.
What we use
04
Excess Hair
Unwanted hair on the face or body. Laser suits some hair and skin combinations far better than others, and a patch test settles it before you commit to a course.
What we use
05
Fine Lines & Wrinkles
Lines from expression, lines from sun, and usually both. Where a line comes from decides whether relaxing it or resurfacing it is the right answer.
What we use
06
Genital Skin Tags & Warts
Benign lesions in an area people put off asking about. Assessed and removed discreetly, in a CQC-registered facility, by clinicians who see them every week.
What we use
07
Pigmentation & Age Spots
Sun damage, melasma and post-inflammatory marks look alike and behave nothing alike. Getting the diagnosis right matters more here than anywhere else on this page.
What we use
08
Rosacea
Persistent redness, flushing and visible vessels, usually with a trigger pattern behind it. Managed rather than cured, and managed well.
What we use
09
Skin Tags
Small benign growths, usually where skin rubs against skin or clothing. Quick to remove, and far better looked at than picked at.
What we use
10
Stretch Marks & Cellulite
Structural change in the dermis rather than a surface mark. Improvement is realistic, erasure is not, and we will tell you that before you book.
What we use
11
Teeth Grinding
Bruxism, and the widening of the jaw that comes with it. Relaxing the masseter eases the clenching and softens the jawline at the same time.
What we use
12
Thread Veins
Fine broken capillaries on the face or legs. Vascular light targets the vessel itself and leaves the skin around it alone.
What we use
— When it is not cosmetic
Some skin needs a diagnosis, not a plan
A mole that has changed, a rash that will not settle, a lesion you are unsure about. None of that belongs on a treatment menu, and we will not put it on one.
London Real Skin sits inside the London Skin and Hair Clinic, and our Medical Director is on the GMC specialist register for dermatology. If what you bring us needs a dermatologist rather than a device, you are already in the right building.
