A vampire facelift involves withdrawing a small amount of your blood, spinning it in a centrifuge to isolate the platelets from the red and white blood cells, then re-injecting the platelet-rich plasma into targeted areas of the face to produce brighter, smoother skin. How long does a vampire facelift last?

What is involved in the treatment?
Your aesthetic nurse assesses your skin, takes ‘before’ photos and explains the plan. Your skin is cleansed, a small amount of blood is drawn and centrifuged, and the activated platelets are injected into targeted areas. Start to finish takes about 30 minutes.
What aftercare is recommended?
Avoid sun and makeup for a few hours, moisturise, drink plenty of water, avoid hot water for 12–24 hours, and ice on and off to reduce any swelling.
Who is a vampire facelift not suitable for?
It’s not suitable for those with certain blood or platelet disorders, active facial infections or cold sores, or those pregnant or breastfeeding, among others. Our practitioner will advise at consultation.
