We are proud to collaborate both at a hospital and clinic level with University and industry driven clinical research. In addition to participating in scientific conferences every year, our specialists are involved in numerous scientific publications and presentations.
Since 2018, Dr Frank Lin (MED0001193706) Registered medical practitioner, specialist plastic surgeon (specialist registration in surgery-plastic surgery) has been an invited speaker in over 20 national and international conferences in the field of plastic surgery and non-surgical cosmetic and body treatments. Under his direction, Eastern Plastic Surgery has been involved in numerous pioneering clinical studies on facial rejuvenation and body contouring with global pharmaceutical and medical devices companies such as Merz Aesthetics, SkinCeuticals, Allergan and BTL Aesthetics.
Our Partnership With University Teaching Hospitals
All specialist plastic surgeons at Eastern Plastic Surgery retain specialist appointments in University teaching hospitals in Melbourne. These include Eastern Health Box Hill and Maroondah Hospitals, The Alfred Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
In these roles, our surgeons are actively involved in the teaching of specialist surgical trainees, as well as the next generation of medical students through Melbourne and Monash University School of Medicine.
Through both Eastern Plastic Surgery and EST Clinic, Dr Frank Lin is also involved in the teaching of dermal therapists both in a lecturing and a clinical capacity through Victorian University’s Department of Health and Biosciences.
